These raised garden beds were made using fence palings and the bottomless structure allows worms to nourish the soil.

The project

I made these raised garden bed using fence palings. I put a flat bordered edge around the top and left them bottomless so worms can come up into the soil.

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @Aroha. It's brilliant that you've joined us, and many thanks for jumping into the conversation.

We'll be looking forward to seeing what you create. If you want to use treated Pine palings, look for some that are ACQ treated instead of CCA. Alternatively, we have the 100 x 15mm x 1.5m Paling Hardwood which would be suitable.

Keep us updated and reach out if you ever need assistance with a project around the house or garden. We're here to help.
