Hi. I have just bought an Ozito 12v cordless drill. Could I use the battery from that in an Ozito 18v Circular saw or other Ozito power tool.
Hi @Pennoze,
I apologize for the delay in my reply.
All PXC batteries are compatible with all PXC tools. You can also choose to purchase just the skin of the tools for use with your current batteries. This saves on the additional cost of batteries and charger every time you purchase a new tool.
Please let me know if you need further assistance or have questions.
Mitchell
Thanks Jason and Mitchell!
i have a 14.4 v battery plus a recharging cradle i think they their day but the drill is still great any suggestions
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @JJT2021. It's a pleasure to have you join us, and many thanks for your question.
That appears to be the OZCD144V1BK which utilises NiCad batteries and was available around 2014. I would be more than happy to contact Ozito tomorrow to determine whether batteries are still available for that unit. Given the advancement in technology and the switch from NiCad to Lithium-Ion batteries, it would be worth considering what drills are on offer at the moment. The Ozito PXC 18V Drill Driver Kit would be a good option as the drill has 21 torque settings, a one-handed keyless chuck, a two-speed gearbox and the Lithium-Ion batteries stay charged and are ready to go when you need them. The batteries also only take 120min to charge instead of the 4-5 hours on the older NiCad batteries and aren't as susceptible to damage from inadequate charging cycles.
I'll get back to you regarding being able to order new batteries.
Hi @JJT2021,
The 14.4V NiCad battery your drill uses is no longer produced. As you have mentioned, having it repacked could be an option. However, given the advancement in technology, I would suggest that the cost of re-packing the battery would be better used towards a new drill and battery combo.
Please let me know if you have any questions or need further assistance.
Hi Mitchell
I also have similar question; I wanted to know "Ozito PXBP-300 3 Ah Battery" fit for "Victa 18v cordless" blower?
i really appreciate your help.
Tom
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @Tom-Thomas. It's wonderful to have you join us, and many thanks for your question.
You'll find that each company has their own style of battery, which has a unique connection. Unfortunately, an Ozito battery will not fit a Victa tool. This goes for their chargers as well, so it would be best to go with the Victa 18V 5.0Ah Cordless Blower Kit, which comes complete with a compatible battery and charger. You'll also find that the included 5.0AH battery has a significantly longer runtime than a 3AH battery.
Thanks for the reply.
If that's the case I require to clarify couple of thing:
1.What's the runtime for Victa 5.0 Ah battery? What's the price for the battery by itself? Is it available in Bunnings?
2. Ozito PXBP-300 3 Ah battery suits for any Ozito blower? How long is the runtime for this 3.Ah battery?
Hope you can assist me with this.
Regards
Hi @Tom-Thomas,
The runtime on the Victa 5.0AH battery in the 18V blower is listed here at 34 minutes. The battery is not stocked within our stores, but the team at your local store's Special Orders counter would be more than happy to price and order a battery for you. As a general rule of thumb, it is cheaper to purchase the kit version than to purchase the skin, battery and charger separately.
Any Ozito Power Xchange battery suits all the Power Xchange range, including the Ozito PXC 18V Cordless Blower - Skin Only. Ozito does not list the runtimes of their battery-powered products. I would hazard a guess that you'll see around 25 minutes of runtime.
I also have a question I am making an electric mini bike and i wanted to know if the 18v ozito terminals are the same as a makita 18v battery not to be interchangeable but to use a adapter for a makita
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @Jett1234. It's sensational to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about battery compatibility.
It sounds like a rad project you're working on. Currently, I'm retrofitting a mid 90's electric car for my three-year-old daughter. It's gone from 6volts to 18volts and now has a larger motor. The only issue now is that it just spins and shreds the plastic wheels, even with me sitting in it. It's time for some rubber tires for grip.
I'm running Ryobi batteries in that and an adaptor I cobbled together out of their USB charger.
The Ozito and Makita batteries have quite different terminal styles, and an adaptor for one wouldn't fit the other.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
I am trying to order an Ozito 18V 2.5a battery and charger online. Your consultant tells me it is $59..... but this is not coming up online...... please advise

Hi everyone, could you help me with a battery charger for Ozito older model tools (green and grey) CKL-8000, or anything compatible to use. Thank you
Hello @tf
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. Thank you so much for joining us and sharing your question about the Ozito battery charger for the CKL8000.
In order to help you further would it be possible for you to post a photo of the hand drill unit and its model and tag? The tag is sometimes located under the battery. I will speak to our provider on Monday about the charging unit and as soon as I have more information, I will get back to you.
My dad has a set like that and I think he got a new battery by going to Bunnings special orders… I’d assume the charger is similar. I doubt you’ll find it online.
Hi Eric this is the no that you requested, (1310).
Thank you for your help
Just bought a mini Ozito chainsaw 18.4v kit from Bunnings. Bought because I have other Ozito tools. On opening box I find a new battery and charger not compatible with my other Ozito tools ! Comment please.
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @hotrodder19. It's great to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about battery compatibility.
Was it the Ozito 254mm 18V Cordless Chainsaw Kit, and are your other Ozito tools from the Power Exchange series? For the batteries to be compatible, they need to be from the same series. For a chainsaw compatible with your batteries and comparable in size, check out the Ozito PXC 18V Chainsaw - Skin Only.
Please let me know if you have any questions or if I can assist with exchanging the unit.

Hi @tf,
I've contacted Ozito, and unfortunately, they no longer supply this style of battery or charger. There is no compatible charger in their current range.
I apologise for not being able to source a charger for this kit. Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you for your help. Unfortunately I'm left with brand new few tools that I can't use at all. Any advice on properly disposing them?
This range of tools was released around 2013, so you might be able to pick up a battery charger on the second-hand market.
Regarding disposal, the batteries can be recycled at an appropriate recycling centre, and the tools have no special disposal requirements. However, you might like to see if your local Men's Shed or Women's Shed would be interested in taking them as one of their members might have a suitable charger for the tools. The Bower Co-op is also a fantastic non-for-profit group that recycles goods, saving them from landfills.
Thank you for your reply. Is there anyone from men/women shed on this forum that will be interested in tools, especially if they have a matching charger or extra batteries? I would love to give them a set, 2 drill, circular saw, grinder, driver, palm sender, all new except the drill. Someone from Epping or Mernda area in VIC Thank you

Hello @amritpal54044
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. Thank you so much for joining us and sharing your question about getting a replacement battery for your Ozito drill.
I've just been speaking with our provider. I'm so sorry but there are no more replacement batteries for this unit. This drill was introduced around early 2012 and has been superseded by the Ozito Power X-Change System. Unfortunately, those battery systems are not compatible with your drill.
If you decide to get a new drill I recommend reading this post - How to choose the right drill for the job. This guide should provide you with advice and information on how to choose your next drill.
If you need more advice or information, please let us know.
That looks like a fun project!
I have a question about battery and charger compatibility within the PXC range. I bought a drill & impact driver kit a few months ago. It came with a PXCG-030 fast charger and two 1.5Ah batteries. The charger only has three tangs and the batteries only have three slots with contacts. See attached images. Are these compatible with the current versions that have five tangs and contact slots?
Thanks in advance,
Richard.
