What parts do I need to fix my Mondella Resonance curved sink mixer?

Hi this is the third tap I have from Mondella same brand and model. It keeps breaking at the same place. I don't want to keep buying a new one and getting a plumber to install it again. It's getting too expensive.
The tap leaks at the base of the neck. The neck is raised up from the base and can see the o rings  white one at the top looks like it is broken. so with the water pressure the neck lifts up because that white ring is broken . How do I get this part and repplace it myself.  I can open and disocnnect the neck from the base. There is the white ring and one or two(not sure of there is a second one at the end) black o-rings.  I am sure these can be replaced.  How do I get these and how to replace?  what parts do I ask when I visit bunnings or other hardware shop like Reece.

Thanks.Mondella Resonance -WhatsApp Image 2024-01-15 at 17.41.55_2866a70d.jpgMondella Resonance -WhatsApp Image 2024-01-15 at 17.42.24_188ab48e.jpgMondella Resonance -WhatsApp Image 2024-01-15 at 17.42.38_82a3caef.jpgMondella Resonance - WhatsApp Image 2024-01-15 at 17.44.57_0a6faeb7.jpg

Re: what parts do I need to fix my Mondella Resonance curved sink mixer?

Hello @jhasoon

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about how to fix your sink mixer.

The most common part to wear out is the O ring in the spout, I suggest bringing the spout to the store and speaking to the plumbing specialist who can show you which O ring will work on your spout. I also recommend using HydroSeal 40g Tube Tap Lubricant on the O ring before putting your spout back into place. It's important that you put tap lubricant on the O ring, or it will get damaged, and it will start leaking again.

However, if the plumbing specialist can't find a compatible O ring, I propose going to the special orders desk and asking them to order it as a special spare part. The special orders team will get your details and the details of your kitchen mixer and proceed from there.

If you have any other questions we can help with, please let us know.

Re: what parts do I need to fix my Mondella Resonance curved sink mixer?

Thanks Eric.  Note you'll see there is a white plastic also above the black o-ring. I don't know if that is also called an O-ring. looks like it is broken. There is a hole in it which seems to be where the screw tighten onto. Bit I also see a big gap or on it like it split the plastic. This white plastic is also needing a new replacement I believe. also, are 2 black o -rings for this tap or just 1 as i see - may be one is broken and melted out?

On another question for this same tap, Does it has a  ceramic cartridge or rubber washer and where is it to check them and replace if needed? How ?

Thank you

Re: what parts do I need to fix my Mondella Resonance curved sink mixer?

Hi @jhasoon

If you need all the parts to be replaced, I suggest going directly to the special orders desk and asking them to order the spare parts for you.

However, before doing so my friend has mentioned that if your tap is still under warranty, it might be possible to have it replaced entirely. Do you still have your docket or proof of purchase? If you do, please show it to the special orders team and they should be able to help you process it.

This particular kitchen tap uses a ceramic cartridge and does not use traditional washers or jumper valves. I suggest having a look at this discussion - How to replace Mondella ceramic disc cartridge? by @MarcParkes

If you need further assistance, please let us know.
