A little Travertine table

Travertine DIY table. 

 

Materials

Travertine tiles

Construction adhesive 

Tools

Tape measure

Level

Steps

Step 1

Mark a middle line to the smaller tile. Add glue on it. 

Step 2

Stand the tile straight, and glue the other smaller tile so it looks like the shape of the letter T. Let it dry.

Step 3

The shape of the letter T is my table's leg. Add glue to the top edge of the tiles. Place the bigger Travertine tile on top. Let it dry completely.

Thank you very much for sharing this clever technique on how to build a small Travertine Table. What an ingenious idea of creating the legs of the table out of a single tile. It certainly saves you from having to build custom timber legs or attach steel posts.
