Our concrete has cracked a bit and the concrete out the back was poorly painted a blue colour and it’s patchy and come off in areas.
How would we best repair, seal and potentially paint it? With a very natural grey colour.
Hi @Deeks66,
Some images of the areas would really assist our members in understanding the issues you are trying to resolve.
Cracks can be filled with concrete filler, and the patchy painted areas can be scrubbed back with a wire rotary brush and sanded smooth. You can then prime the area with Rust-Oleum 3.78L Concrete and Garage Recoat Primer and topcoat with either Rust-Oleum 3.78L Battleship Grey Concrete And Garage Floor Paint or Rust-Oleum 3.78L Armour Grey Concrete And Garage Floor Paint. These two colours are the only compatible topcoats for the Recoat primer. All other concrete paints require a sound surface to paint onto or bare concrete. Therefore, you'd need to remove all the existing paint, which would be an incredibly tedious task.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
