Hi there
Just thinking about using treated pine sleepers for a floating deck frame. Can I have some expert advice?
I have extra lengths of 200x 75 X 3.0m sleepers

Hi @bobyjose I am sorry I haven't replied to your post yet.
Could I please have a little bit more explanation.
When you refer to a floated treated pine sleeper deck are you just laying the sleepers straight on the ground.
What methods were you planning on using?
This will assist the community members to give you the right advice.

Kind regards Rob 👍
At the moment I am thinking of laying sleepers on the floor as there isn't enough clearance between the door step and decking boards or I will have to remove bit of dirt - it will affect the drainage if I do so.
Hi @bobyjose
Is it possible to get a couple of pictures of the area you are talking about.
Just something to keep in mind with treated pine in general including sleepers is that in time they will shrink and warp in size.
Although they are a great option for longetivety, they will shrink quite a bit.
If you are able to share some pictures and a bit more detail that would be great.
Kind regards Rob 👍
