What treatment for in-ground H4 treated Pine cuts will stop rotting?

Hi. First-time poster. I'm about to build an outdoor set of stairs using treated pine. Some of the cut ends will be below the ground and some above the ground. Is there a product that I can apply to the below-ground/in-ground cuts to minimise/delay rot and maximise life?

Re: Treatment for in-ground H4 treated pine cuts

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @BFDino. It's great to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about treating timber.

For your cut ends, you can use TWA Woodcare 300g Ecoseal Tanalised Timber Treatment to return them to an H5 level, which is suitable for in-ground decay protection. We also have Bondall 4L Inground Timber Protector, which can be painted on the timber going in-ground to provide additional protection.

Remember that above-ground cuts also need to be re-treated, and the spray is perfect for that.

Please let me know if you have any questions.
