Bought from marketplace, used some decorative paper as well as paint to give it a makeover 🙂

Re: Marketplace Magic

Hi @Kimarty56

Thank you for sharing this beautiful upcycled drawer piece. What an excellent makeover, did you use chalk paint on the main body of the drawer or did you just use ordinary white and scuffed the surface? Did you do the insides as well or left it in its original state? I've always wondered what the former owner placed inside those little pullout drawers. Seeing so many upcycled pieces of furniture has had me thinking about its history.

Any upcycling tips you can share would be very much appreciated.

We look forward to seeing your next project.

Eric

Re: Marketplace Magic

Hi Eric, thank you for your kind words 🙂 I used a sample pot of paint i already had, some scrapbooking paper and a can of spray paint to do the heavy black handles. I dont know much about the piece but its old, handmade and nothing was straight or square on it, but that adds to the character, inside was left unpainted, the wood was beautiful 🙂
