How to Make a Comfy Office Chair From an Car Seat

Converted a Honda Civic hatchback Car Seat into the Comfy Office Chair I always wanted a good office chair to have in my room in front of the computer. A lot of my work revolve around computer, so I needed good office chair

In this DIY project you will learn how to make a comfy office chair from an old car seat and ensure it’s sturdy and long lasting. Your will learn how to construct a sturdy base, calculate how high your seat needs to be, construct a mounting platform for the car seat and then fix everything together. You will also learn how to select the correct car seat for your office chair and what safety points you need to consider.

What a beautiful, repurposed seat. Thank you for sharing the steps you took to attach the car seat to the chair post. It definitely looks comfy and because it's a proper car seat, it should provide excellent support for your back. Is the entire seat very heavy or is it still manageable?
