Hello Everyone,

can someone please guide me where do these “nuts” actually go? I know I have installed them wrong ‘cause the door handle just comes right off.

This is my first time fixing a door handle. Please help. Thank you,

Amy

Hello @amydroid7

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about installing a door handle.

You are so close to finishing your door installation project. The door handle cover plate needs to be taken off so that you can attach it to the bolts and the nuts will go on the plate side of the door handle. I've placed a sample video below to give you an idea of how to take the cover plate off. It is only held in place with a rubber O ring and you just need to pull it off.

If you go to the one-minute mark of the film, you'll see how the cover plate was removed. It is the same for your door handle.

Here is a link to the door handle installation: Door Handle.

If you need further assistance, please let me know.

Eric
