Renovating a home in Melbourne myself

Hi everyone,

I'm renovating my own home in Melbourne and plan to keep progress updated here

We are

  • expanding the kitchen into an open living space with the lounge
  • New kitchen
  • New floors everywhere tiles and carpet
  • Painting the walls and patching plaster
  • Laundry conversion into a laundry with a shower room
  • Building a new powder room with a toilet and basin
  • Renovating the entire bathroom/separate toilet and combining it into one
  • Some rooms had wallpaper and we stripped the plaster off and are re plastering and painting
  • There were shelves to be removed in the garage to make more space for my car
  • We will be installing a vanity from Bunnings in the bathroom
  • I plan to use as much Bunnings fittings and appliances/toilet/basins etc as I can

Here are some photos so far 20.5.23

It helps my job is as a carpenter I do renovations and new homes extensions as well, but I really wanted to show you all my own home and keep everyone updated on what I'm doing to help everyone. Some of these project will be D.I.Y  - for example tiling and painting.
