Laundry renovation

My husband renovated the laundry for me. Everything in the finished pic came from Bunnings. My husband did the whole project with the help of his Dad, the only tradie we got in was the plumber to move the pipes to under the sink (we have licensed electricians in the family so they did the electrical work for us) the bench top was just a bamboo piece from Bunnings that hubby cut to size, I varnished it with marine grade varnish to make it waterproof and stop water marks.

What an amazing transformation, @Upcycler01! You must be so pleased with the results as they look fantastic.

Any idea of a ballpark figure on the cost for this project? Our members always love hearing what can be achieved on different budgets. It looks like you had some excellent cabinetry there to begin with. Did you just change the handles?

Thanks Mitchell. We did just change the handles over on the cabinets. All the cabinets were just flat pak off the Bunnings shelf, the reno cost about $1,500

I hated my laundry to start with but the reno made it one of my favourite rooms.

Thanks Katie, I originally was going with white grout but I loved the way the slate grout made the tiles stand out.
