Taking something that’s no longer serving it’s original purpose & giving it a new lease of life is how l love to create . So often furniture has good bones but due to wear & tear it needs a little attention rather than just being dismissed as junk . Lucky not everyone thinks like that & getting my hands on solid pieces is easy to do . This piece had damaged draws so l decided to keep what was working & remove what was not .. two old draws became shelves for storage. A new top was cut & stained from Bunnings Timber Panels to create an over hang suitable for placing stools under . It’s purpose now serves as a fantastic Butchers Block / Bench space ..
