An oil diffuser leaked onto the table and ripped off the wood finish. Is there anything I can try to fix it?

That's a bit of a difficult one. Is this real timber or laminate? When you say that it "ripped" the finish off, did actual sections of it peel off or is this just discolouration of the finish?
I can't imagine that there is anything you could apply to that specific area that is going to be a un-noticeable repair. Unfortunately, this will likely need the top sanded back and a recoat of sealer applied.
