My friend hated this mouldy old cane lounge and wanted to dump it. I absolutely loved it and new I could rescue this beautiful rare classic cane lounge for my new Hampton house. First I blasted it with a water pressure machine to remove the years of dirt and mould and dried it in the sun. Next, spray the cane with flat white paint. My first attempt was with individual spray cans but this was taking too long so I decided to invest in a spray gun. It took a while to get used to get the mixture right but it was definitely quicker. The cushions were able to be saved and recovered.
