We have just moved into a rental apartment with no laundry, so the washing machine drainage is connected to our bathroom sink pipes. Any time we do washing it almost overflows our sink, and takes ages to drain. We have used “draino” to unclog the sink, and have disconnected the pipes to look and doesn’t seem like a clog anywhere. My partner seems to think the pipes are too small to handle the amount of water going through them from the machine.
Wondering if there’s an easier fix or if we should call a plumber?
