Hi, I'm having a recycled shower base fitted into my bathroom. I'm not sure what the unit is made of. I think it's probably a resin material though it might be glass fibre. It is fairly heavy so I suspect it's the former.
I've attached some photos to assist in this enquiry. Two are of the upper side the other two viewed from underneath. My questions are:-
1./ From the photos what does the shower base look like it's most likely made of?
2./ One of the photos shows a very small chip on the upper surface. What would be the best material / product to seal and repair it with?
3./ Are there any special issues I ought to be aware of with using this type of shower base? It is very sturdy.
4./ Any idea what the 2 letters AF

on the base next to the outlet might mean?
Any help or answers would be greatly appreciated. 😊
