Music/adults room

Hey All,

I thought I would share some work that I've been implementing in my Music / Adults room.

It is a place I can sit down and grab a guitar and thrash out some metal or write some tracks or just kick back with the misses and watch some TV (kids and fur kids are banned).

Under cabinet lights are Mirabella Genio 4 pack Under Cabinet

Behind TV is a 3m Mirabella Genio LED Smart strip

Downlights are Mirabella Gimble GU10 Carcass and GU10 wiring.

GU10 smart lights compatible with Tuya Systems

Tuya compatible Smart Motion detector to control the 3 above only.

2 x Tuya compatible smart E27 RGB globes in the Ceiling fan.

Desk power board 5 way smart Tuya compatible Google / Alexa enabled.

Under desk LED static non smart

Lounge LED inbuilt not smart

@MitchellMc it's a pretty cool space to kick back in.

I had done the under desk LED some time ago but recently added the smart powerboard to turn it on via Google command then the under cabinet, surround TV and gimble downlights I put in over a couple of hours.

I've got a few more gimbles to do when I hang some more guitars

@CSParnell This is pretty cool. I'm renovating my music studio. What did you use to hang your guitars and how did you put the lighting under that table? It looks great. Good job!

Guitars I was just using wall mount guitar neck hangers found on eBay. We had the house repainted so these days they are all in floor racks.

For lights I am using Grid Connect brand, ceiling I have GU10 smart globes, behind TV smart strip led light, under cabinet smart under bench lights, and the lounge that is built in, under desk another smart LED strip light.

You can create groups and colour scenes and trigger them kinda together

That's so awesome and a really great set up. Repainting as well so prob best for guitars to stay on the floor stand.

Thanks for letting me know about the lighting. Did you get all your smart globe gear and strips from Bunnings? I knew they sold smart lighting. They are really brilliant! Enjoy your music/theatre room 🙂
