This clever project turned a built-in wardrobe into a cosy alcove with built-in reading lamps and a floating timber shelf.
The project
We love our main bedroom space. We first took out the wardrobe, lined half the wall with VJ panelling and painted it with Porter's Paints Yacht Race blue.
We attached the little decorative wood brackets and put in a beautiful raw timber shelf. We painted the rest of the room a fresh white and added curtains to make the room warmer.
We also added side lamps and a fan with a light that can be operated by a phone app. Everything is from Bunnings, apart from the raw timber slab.
