Bedside table upcycle

I was approached by British Paints Australia to try out their new Prep 4 in 1 in a pouring can . I jumped at the opportunity. 
British Paints is only sold at Bunnings Warehouse which makes it convenient to purchase all my DIY needs at one store .

i had a bedside table that needed some loving, following are the steps I took ;

1. Cleaned the bed side table using sugar soap.

2. Light sand all over using block sand paper in 180. Grit 

3. applied 2 coats of prep 4 in 1 by British Paints  , allowing drying time in between. 
4. Decided on the colour BLACK ACE in a H20 semi gloss enamel ( British Paints )

I applied 2 coats with drying time in between.

5. Then lastly I applied the hardware to the bedside table .

A great  upcycle that suits my 18 year old sons room perfectly  .

Thank you very much for sharing such a wonderful bedside table upcycle project. That finish looks fantastic and those leather handles look awesome. What were some of your observations when you used the British Paints 2.8L Easy Pour White 4 In 1 Prep Water Based Primer Sealer Undercoat? Did you get a good uniform finish on the surface of the cabinet?
