D.I.Y. living room wall

 Wall was prepped and defects filled with spackfilla.

 We decided to paint the wall with Dulux ‘timeless grey’ door & trims in Dulux ‘vivid white’. Black hinges and handle were installed to the door and black brackets fixed to suitable studs.

 Specrite pine live edge shelves were ripped down in width taking an equal amount off the back to get suitable shelf depth.

 Black cup hooks fixed to the underside  for hanging plants.

Cabinet was assembled and positioned, we decided to leave the back panel off allowing us to push cabinet to wall without cutting holes for cables. New pots were placed either side.

Hi @cam_bubb, and welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's great to have you here.

Your living-room wall looks fantastic. I love the way that you've staggered the shelves, making room for a taller plant and a hanging one. I love those wavy saw cuts too. They really add visual interest to the shelves themselves. How did you hit upon that idea?

And you have such a strong indoor plant game! The different shapes and forms of the plants complement each other really well. Did you plan the arrangement ahead of time or just improvise?
