Is it recommended to caulk between the skirting and floor board ?

It's perfectly alright to ask questions, we're here to help. It's ok to use a gap filler between the skirting board and the floorboard. I suggest having a look at the Coloured Caulk Gap Filler. There are a few colours to choose from, I recommend finding one that is either close to your floorboard or skirting board colour.
