If you are 'uming and ahhing' over whether or not its worth the time and money saving that piece of outdoor furniture before summer hits - I'd like to share my recently completed outdoor bench restoration. This is a great example of what can be acheieved with VERY limited time and budget. I purposely used the cheapest, entry-level products to find out what exaclty would be achieved - and I was amazed with the results.
Because this was a entry-level decking oil, I won't get the longevity and protection you would with a high quality oil. But this will be great as extra seating for guests on our balcony over the Christmas break.
The products used for this project totalled between $40-$50, and between 1.5hrs-2hrs over 2 days.
