New tiles, a benchtop with sink, cabinets and paint transformed an old laundry in this D.I.Y. renovation.
The project
I could no longer live with my old laundry. My husband thought it was a waste of money but he soon changed his mind when he worked out we could also incorporate a little bar area. We lined up a tradie to do the work but he kept changing his availability on us.
My husband agreed to do the job. We bought everything from Bunnings and installed it ourselves. We obviously had to employ a plumber, electrician, tiler and an expert asbestos remover.
I am over the moon with this little reno and get lots of compliments on it. We also completely painted the room.
