This is incredible Kel, how big is it? I think it would be great for growing orchids in.

this basket is 12 cm in height and 20 cm wide at the top.i think it looks bigger in the photo.the photo of the basket ,is in its raw state,today i spent sanding and oiling all my projects,they came up a treat.sometime in the future i will make a larger version of this basket.

Let me mention @kel to see if they can give you any advice on constructing one of these bowls yourself. Did you have a scroll saw or bandsaw that you could use to build this with? If not, I'd be happy to recommend one which would be suitable for this project.
