Tiny functional laundry using Kaboodle cupboards

When we built the extension I made a mistake with my measurements and ended up with a tiny space for the laundry - but thankfully with Kaboodle cupboards and a Robin hood ironing centre - our tiny room works a treat. 

Materials

• Robinhood delux ironing centre
• kaboodle in store base cabinets and slim line cabinets 
• merbau wooden slab for a benchtop
• black round sink 
• splashback in store 

Tools

Steps

Step 1

• Tiled the floor 
• patterned tiles right through the whole extension
• waterproofed whole room 

Step 2

• Placed Kaboodle cupboards 
• placed merbau wooden top 
• cut hole in the top 
• stained the top 
• varnished the top 
• placed back sink and tap 
• placed the splashback 
• connected taps and drain 

Step 3

• Painted room
• placed Robinhood ironing centre

Wow, I'm truly impressed by how you've maximised every inch of that small space to create a functional laundry room. The use of the Robinhood Ironing Centre is especially brilliant. Glad you managed to finish it all in time during DIY July!

Any words of advice for those who are also trying to maximise space in small laundry areas? Any particular factors to keep in mind?
