How to patch a hole in concrete wall?

I stuck a paper towel holder to my kitchen wall and when I removed it, it took a chunk of the wall with it!!! What do I use to patch the hole? I assume once patched, I have to sand it down and then paint with base coat and match the white paint? The grey material in the hole looks like crumbly concrete.

Hi @Kaileybum,

I'd recommend applying a product like UNi-PRO 500g Multi Purpose Interior Filler. You can fill the hole with it and then do a skim coat over the area with a joint knife. You only need enough filler to bring the damaged portion flush with the existing surface. Once the filler is dry, you can then sand it with 180-grit sandpaper for a smooth finish before applying an undercoat and then your wall paint.
