How to replace silicone caulk?

Hi all!

I have no idea what this sealant is ... it's got a plastic like feel to it, so I'm guessing it's not a plaster type filler. Is it a silicone caulk? The mould is ingrained so it needs replacing. How do I remove it? And what do I replace it with? Thanks!

That would be silicone caulk @Tyro.

You can remove it using a silicone remover tool and replace it using a caulking gun and a white wet-area silicone caulk. Here's a helpful step-by-step guide: How to apply silicone sealant.
