90% CompleteI am painting my house a section at a time. When I got to the BBQ outdoor area I decided the sandy pavers with 2 charcoal paver stripes had to be modernized to work in with the new house colour - British paints ARCTIC GREY.
So what you see is the first coat with a paintable sealant in about 50% of the gapes. This task is time consuming!
The second coat will go on soon then I am finished with that section of the house. Phew!
Steps
Step 1
1. Used my Ryobi cordless blower to remove any loose sand / grit from the surface.
Step 2
2. Used a brush to cut in and paint all the joints between the pavers.
Step 3
3. Rolled on the first coat trying to achieve an even coverage.
Step 4
4. Applied the Paintable gap-filler / sealant to all gaps big and small. The larger gaps I pre-filled with paving sand.
Step 5
5. Applied a generous second coat once again trying for even coverage. The area is 5m x 3m. The pavers REALLY soaked up the first coat so be mindful a 4L tin may not go as far as you anticipate.
