First post, looking for pergola advice please. Looking to do something like this at home. Currently have 4 125 x 125 posts at home 1.5m apart. Would like to use matching 125 x 125 material as rafters to span 3.6m between posts & house. For traditional rafter, plan was to use roof rafter brackets to fascia plate to attach rafters. If 125 x 125 used, would this method still be acceptable? Any guidance would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
