Why are my leaves dry on green peas plants?

Hello Team,

I noticed that the bottom part of a few of my green peas plants have dried leaves. May I know why the bottom portion of the plant (leaves) getting dried whereas the top portion looks good? Is there anything not correct? Should I take any extra precaution to protect its growth?

Hmm, I wouldn't be too worried as long as the rest of the plant is healthy @balaji27. How much have you been watering?

Hi @balaji27

It appears that the soil area around the plant is very wet. It's possible that your green pea plant is getting overwatered. I suggest cutting back on watering and allowing the soil to dry off.

Thanks Jason. I water the plants twice a day if it is too hot or once a day.

Thanks for the advice. May be I took the pics after watering, but as you mentioned I will leave the soil dry and see how it develops.

Thanks for the update @balaji27. It looks like the same situation as your eggplant seedlings - @Noelle mentioned that the plant can't sustain too many leaves and will drop the older leaves that are no longer needed.
