How can I remove this sink drain as I don’t want to buy whole new cabinet. Hope someone can advise.
Hi @cazbaa
What I learnt from @EricL is that centre screw needs to be un done a long way to separate the top and bottom parts of that drain plug sandwiching the sink in between.
Hope I learnt right. never to old to learn new tricks.
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @cazbaa. It's sensational to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about removing a sink waste. As @Jewelleryrescue mentioned, on this style of waste, the central screw locks it together. Under the sink, there will also be a couple of nuts that link the pipework to the waste. Make sure to check on your local regulations, as this could be considered plumbing work, requiring a licensed plumber to complete it.Please let me know if you have any questions.Mitchell
