What does a purple tap mean?

Hi there. Hope you doing great. 

i am installing sprinklers in my yard and noticed there are two taps both have meters with them. 

One of the tap has a purple. And I have checked this one runs in bathroom. 

Should I use the other tap for watering the garden OR purple one.

The purple tap indicates recycled water. It would be best to contact your local council to discuss the use of this water in your area. Typically, it can be used in irrigation systems and is charged at a lower cost than your standard supply. Here's some information from South East Water.
