Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @tigers. It's great to have you join us, and many thanks for your question on cutting mitres. It's very easy to use a mitre box to make 45-degree cuts in timber if you are familiar with using a timber saw. If the corners are not 90 degrees, then it can become a little more difficult to cut the timber at the correct angle. Typically, you'd then need to make some fine adjustments with sandpaper to match the angle up exactly. If you have a whole house to do, I'd highly recommend investing in a compound mitre saw, as it will be far faster and provide more accurate and adjustable angle cuts. Please let me know if you have any questions.Mitchell
