Can I trim the door using a multitool blade?

Hi brain trust,

I recently purchased 14 packs of adhesive floor planks from Bunnings. I successfully installed 7 packs without any issues, but now I'm facing a challenge with a sliding door. The door is stuck due to the new planks on the flooring. Is it possible to trim the bottom of the door without having to replace it?

The short answer is yes, your door can be trimmed down to create space at the bottom. If you are looking to take away 3mm to 5mm from the bottom of the door it can be done with a saw. But I advise not cutting more than that as it will compromise the door's structure. I recommend taking off only what you need, and make sure that you place a cutting mark on the door so that it will be nice and straight.
