Hi, just wondering could I seal and tile the shower wall recess shelf and use it as a basin? I’d obviously need to add the plug hole but wondering if it would hold up?

Thank you for your question and welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community, it is great to have you with us.
I would not advise using this product as a basin as it is not designed to take the force of water pushing outwards. I would be concerned that the outer shell would fail causing water damage to the surroundings.
You might like to have a look at Bunnings range of basins as an alternative.
