What smart deadlocks for Strata-operated apartments?

Hi,
I am looking to install Smart main door Deadlocks and I was told that our Apartment main door is fire safety door and not all locks are eligible. Is there a way to find out what smart locks are eligible and what tools are required to install this?

Thank you for your question and welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community, it is great to have you with us.

As fire doors must be certified, and the lock is something scrutinised in the certification process, this work must be carried out by a suitably licenced person.

There are fire rated options such as Yale Silver Unity Fire Rated Entrance Lock and Yale Silver Unity Entrance Lock Fire Rated DDA Lever, but I would advise confirming suitability with the installer prior to purchase. 

I would advise contacting your strata manager to see if they have a preferred fire safety contractor for assistance with this project.
