Can I tint the epoxy?

Hi All,

I bought the epoxy kit from bunnings for a grey color and opened and used the prep acid to wash my garage. Now my wife thinks the color is too light and we should have gone with Titanium grey. Is there a way I can tint the epoxy and change the color from light grey to dark grey?

Hi @tarun1arora,

It sounds like you are using the Dy-Mark 8L Carrara Grey Epoxy Coat Garage Floor Kit. Unfortunately, those kits are not tintable, so we wouldn't be able to turn the light grey to dark grey. However, you might like to take the kit, including packaging, to the store of purchase and discuss it with the team there. If you've only used the acid prep, they might be able to swap the paint.
