Hi all,
I discovered a minor crack on shower base. Is it possible to use White Epoxy Paste to fix it?

Hello @kwlam2203
Thanks for sharing your question about your cracked shower tray.
PC-11 is a good product but is not flexible. It dries hard and does not flex when stressed and will therefore crack when subjected to pressure. Instead, I suggest using Sika 300ml Translucent SikaSeal Kitchen And Bathroom Silicone Sealant. It has excellent adhesion and great weatherability, it is non-sag, fast curing and provides long term mould resistance.
It provides a temporary flexible seal and should be able to take the rigours of everyday use. However, it is not a permanent repair solution. The seal will need to be replaced every now and then when it wears out. Unfortunately, the tray will need to be replaced as the crack in the material will eventually start to travel and create a larger leak.
If you have any other questions we can help with, please let us know.
