We have been experiencing constant seepage of water through the seams of the wall downstairs. The water appears to have a yellowish tint and drips at a slow rate, roughly a drop every two seconds. The area above the affected wall is where the bathroom basin is located. We previously thought that the issue might stem from waterproofing failure, potentially allowing water to seep under the tiles and accumulate within the walls before leaking out.
However, based on our observations, we now suspect that the problem may be related to the water supply pipes leading to the basin or other pipes within the wall. This suspicion was further heightened this morning when we discovered water leakage upstairs in close proximity to the basin. Please see the photos attached.
What could be the possible causes? How to best inspect the cause? Thanks!
