How to test waterproofing is completed correctly?

Hi i'm renovating my bathroom and discovered it has water damage which affected stud walls, so i'm quite adamant about making sure waterproofing is done right this time.

i have a tiller waterproofing my bathroom but is there any tests or recommendation for my peace of mind?

i found this shower plug sealant. can this be used for new and old bathrooms? will it potentially trap moisture between the surface and bare floor?

It's important to ensure that the tiler is experienced with waterproofing and follows the local building codes and standards. Since you've experienced issues in the past it might be best to employ the services of someone that specialises in waterproofing and leave the tiling to the tiler.

For peace of mind, the person applying the waterproofing could flood test by filling the shower area with water and leaving it for 24 hours to check for leaks. They'd then use a moisture meter to confirm the area is dry before tiling. 

The Shower Plug can be used in both new and old bathrooms to prevent water ingress through grout lines and porous tiles. Ensure the surface is dry before application to avoid trapping moisture, which can lead to mould and mildew issues. 

Regularly inspect and maintain the bathroom, ensuring proper ventilation with an exhaust fan to reduce humidity and condensation.
