Looking outside into LaundryThe DIY project was the full modernisation of the original laundry Installed some 44 years ago. It was outdated and reflected a poor utilisation of space. The Laundry was out of the 80's. The goal was to be effective, modern whilst connecting to the outdoors as this is a main thorough fare.
This included the complete removal of the back wall, gyprock, new sliding internal and external doors, new storage cupboards alongside new shower and toilet in adjoining room. Tiling of all wet areas opening up the entrance onto the back deck improving access and increasing the property value. A huge success.

Planning
Using the Bunnings https://planner.kaboodle.com.au/ I found the planner a great visual aid and very easy to use including a 3D view. This step provided diagram for the engineer to review and a full bill of materials with an initial estimate.
A project plan and timeline was created in Excel to organise all tasks and ensure dependencies for each task was covered.
Required trades were engaged. Tiler, electrician, plumber.
