How to repair a bathroom marble countertop?

Hi everyone. There's a spot on my bathroom marble countertop. It looks as if the coating on it has come off. Is there a way for me to reapply a spot coating on this patch without it looking too obvious that it's been added ? I'm leaning towards epoxy coating then sanding it down but I'm unsure if that's the right fix. Appreciate any assistance as I'd rather not have my bond taken off due to this.

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your marble countertop.

As much as I would like to say yes to the epoxy coating, I don't recommend doing it as a D.I.Y. repair. Spot repairs are easily noticeable unless performed by a trade professional. In this instance, I suggest engaging the services of a stone top repair specialist. 

They have the knowledge, experience and the tools to repair your marble countertop. I suggest getting at least two quotes so that you'll have an idea of what the going rate is for repairs.

Repairing marble or stone tops is complicated and involved process and if the sealer on the surface gets damaged it needs to be professionally repaired.
