Complete floor to ceiling 1950s kitchen renovation

Completed Kitchen

Our kitchen renovation using products from Bunnings has completely modernised our 1950s kitchen into a highly efficient and beautiful space. We opted for licorice twist kaboodle cabinets complemented and softened by drifting cloud painted VJ paneling, and Hella Oak laminate flooring. This combination has transformed the kitchen into a welcoming environment, blending contemporary style with practical functionality from floor to ceiling.

Steps

Step 1

Demolished existing kitchen.

1950's KitchenThat was very satisfying !

Step 2

Installed and Painted VJ Paneling and Painted Walls, Windows and Ceiling.

Step 3

Constructed and installed Kaboodle Kitchen including cutting benchtops to size. The benchtops were seamlessly joined using Merbau multi-filler.

Step 4

Installed Polymer Splashback, laid Laminate Flooring and Installed Kaboodle Kickboards.

Step 5

Custom made floating shelves and chopping board made from left over Merbau Panel benchtop.
