The closet currently only has a small area for hanging clothes. I I would like to keep the shelving next to the current hanging space, but the rest of the shelving I would like to turn into hanging space.
The easiest way I was thinking was just to cut out all the shelves where I dont want them with a jugsaw, and then either insert a free standing hanging rack in the space, or try to install a wall on the left to attach a clothes hanging pole.
I have very little experience with these kinds of things.
You can see in the photos how the shelves are set up. They seem to rest on a supporting beam running around the whole closet. I would be keeping the top shelve, just as it is above the hanging space already there.
Your help is greatly appreciated.
Plan is to turn right side into all hanging space, and keep the shelving just in that portion on the left.
that beam up the top will stay as will that whole shelf, and that beam seem to be the only one like it holding any shelves in place.

i think it looks like single big bits of white MDF attached to wooden supporting beams.
