Blackbutt timber staircase makeover

i sanded back the old varnish to reveal the beautiful natural blackbutt. Left the treads natural and painted the rest white

Materials

Makita sander, paint stripper , scrapers, dulux precision maximum adhesion primer, dulux aquanamel gloss white

Steps

Step 1

Started with the orbit sander then used paint stripper and scrapers to get into the corners.

went over with a light sand and wipe over with sugar soap

primed the areas that would be painted, then 2 coats of paint
