How to cut into cabinetry?

Hello. I am installing flat pack kitchen cabinets and need to cut holes in the cabinetry to allow electrical cords to go through. I think I need something like a round saw attachment for my drill but am not certain what to buy exactly. Can anyone offer suggestions please?

Thanks for sharing your question about cutting into your kitchen cabinets. I suggest having a look at either the Ryobi 5 Piece Carbon Steel Hole Saw Set or the Craftright 16 Piece Holesaw Set. Both sets come with the drill attachment and come with a number of default hole saw sizes.

Please take extra care when drilling into the kitchen cabinet, make sure to triple check its intended position before you commit to cutting the hole. 

Please make sure to wear personal protection such as gloves, goggles and a mask when working on your project.
