How to seal gap between top of window and sill?

Hi team,

This is a new build house. I have a small gap between the top of my window frame and sill that it seems crickets (bugs) like to reside in. What is the best way to seal this? I dont know how the crickets get in there as there does not seem to be a entry on the outside. Any suggestions.

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about sealing the gap between your window and sill.

I recommend cleaning the area first with water and detergent. Remove all the moss and mould on the sill then dry the area very well with a clean rag. To remove any remaining moisture between the gap, I suggest using your hairdryer to totally dry off the area. Once the gap is clean and dry, I suggest using Selleys 430g White No More Gaps Exterior Gap Filler to fill the gap.
