Hello, I've moved into a new home that appears to only have the cold tap set up for the washing machine hose connection. Is it possible to switch the hot water tap type to the same as the cold so I can have both connected?

Just a friendly reminder that any plumbing work must be performed by a licensed plumber.
You can ask your plumber to install a Kinetic 15 x 20mm Chrome Plated Double Mini Cistern Cock. This has the same fittings and function as your cold tee laundry connector. You'll then be able to connect your washing machines hot hose to the hot tap.
