Hi l need to replace the taps of my bathroom sink with new taps as they are worn out, can l hire a handyman to do it or is it a job only for a plumber

It's my understanding that a tap washer can be changed by the homeowner or a handyperson. However, to change a tap, it requires disconnection and reconnection of its pipework. This is then considered plumbing work and requires a licensed plumber.
